This presentation will provide practitioners with information on the Federal and State environmental laws that give EPA and Virginia DEQ broad powers to inspect entities and individuals for environmental compliance.  Topics covered will include:

  •  Identifying issues attorneys should be aware of when advising clients facing an inspection or investigation
  • Help provide some initial advice when clients are the subject of an administrative enforcement action.
  • Helpful tips clients can implement before an inspection or investigation so they are prepared if and when EPA or VDEQ come knocking.
