Presenter:
Katherine M. Lennon, Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black
Kate is an Associate in the Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group. She joined the firm in 2022 after over four years of hands-on civil litigation experience at another Norfolk firm, which took her across the Commonwealth in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate court levels.
Kate graduated summa cum laude from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York, where she double majored in Political Science and Legal Studies. She received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from William & Mary Law School. After law school, Kate served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David W. Lannetti and Michelle J. Atkins in the Norfolk Circuit Court.
In her free time, Kate frequently finds herself looking for new ways to serve her colleagues and the community. She serves as the Treasurer of the Larchmont Edgewater Civic League. Additionally, Kate was recently elected to serve on the Board of The Planning Council. She is also a member of the James Kent American Inn of Court. Last year she served as Young Lawyers Chair of the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association.
When she is not working or volunteering her time, you might see Kate running in a race around Hampton Roads or just running in her favorite neighborhoods in Norfolk. She also enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Ben, and their three energetic dogs: Murphy, Ellie, and Jack.
