Presenter: James Chapman, CEO and Co-Founder of eSumry

James Chapman is CEO and Co-Founder of eSumry, a company providing software for busy trial lawyers, paralegals, expert witnesses, and in-house teams to quickly gain deep insights from case data to win at trial. Prior to founding eSumry, he was a commercial litigator for over 30 years. Before entering private practice, Chapman served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps. He received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and his law degree from Washington & Lee University.

As CEO of eSumry, Chapman is responsible for product vision, growth strategy, enterprise sales, and investor relations.  He is a frequent speaker and writes regularly about legal technology, litigation, and the ethical use of AI.
